The Miracle Worker

The Miracle Worker

The Miracle Worker -
Written by William Gibson and Directed by Glenda Campi

Set in Alabama in the 1880s, The Miracle Worker tells the incredible true story of Helen Keller, a young girl afflicted with both blindness and deafness, and Annie Sullivan, the extraordinary teacher who finds a way for Helen to learn.

The play centers on the pivotal portion of Keller’s childhood when Sullivan enters her life. As Sullivan struggles to reach Helen, she must also contend with the obstacles in her student’s family, namely a domineering patriarch resistant to change, a young mother who loves too much, and a son whose resentment of Helen bubbles close to the surface. The Miracle Worker is a riveting, compelling, inspirational story that has moved audiences for years.

Due to the sheer size of Queensland, it is only fair to bring shows closer to those who couldn't previously reach them!  - so Sunshine Coast, Kevin Fraser is bringing it to you!
Adjusting to the new life as an expatriate, driving over the occasional kangaroo and abiding by a speed limit so slow, that a bicycle is a more legitimate option, Kevin Fraser dives into the depths of discovery down under as he takes you on a back and forth journey of his daily dilemmas in a new found, not-so-northern-territory home.

Fuelled with satirical observations and backed with historical memories, Kevin takes you on an unbearable rollercoaster ride at 120kmph, the South African way!

Featuring prominent personas who interject his stories at every possible breath, only to be deFEETed by an outburst of spontaneous dancing-wtih-the-dj moments that make this the most unusual modern musical yet!
